Finally! I Can Watch Netflix Without Shame!

Netflix is finally giving us all a little sigh of relief with its new and very awesome feature which allows us to watch shows that we would never want our friends knowing we watch. And especially those we don't want our mother knowing we view from time to time. We as viewers can now delete our viewing history! No more embarrassing questions from friends and family using your Netflix account as to why you watched every season of "My Cat from Hell". We are all now free to sit and binge on our favorite food and Netflix show without worry!

This new feature allows us to go into our settings as see every show we have viewed. Next to every show is a little piece of heaven in the shape of an "x" that allows us to delete what we have viewed. From there the show is completely erased and will no longer give you recommendations that are related to what you deleted. So, now you don't have to worry about seeing "Since you viewed My Cat from Hell, you may also like Here Comes Honey Boo Boo". We are free to view anything we want with no shame… That is unless your caught in the act of watching trash TV.

Also, no worries for parents about their children deleting the fact that they watched all six seasons of The L Word. If you have parental controls already set up for Netflix there's no worries about them watching what they shouldn't.

Should we really be that ashamed of what we watch on Netflix though? I mean, does it matter if I spend all Saturday sitting and watching Keeping Up with the Kardashians? No, and I shouldn't feel the need to hide it either, but at least I have the option to keep it from whoever I want to. But, I have to admit, the recommendations know me well, and I use those from time to time to try out a new show. I'm not saying they're all a hit with me, but at least Netflix gives me recommendations based off of what I really watch, and now what I want my friends to think I watch.

Bottom line, I have no shame really. Yes, I watch stupid TV on Netflix and I'm not afraid to tell you I spent all last weekend watching Horders. Judge me. But, now at least I can hide it from you if I want.
